Cycling has been part of my life for as long as I can remember.
I grew up in Nordenau, where my father organized a mountain bike marathon—so in a way, the sport was already in my blood.
I still remember lining up there as a six-year-old, feeling the excitement, the nerves, and that special energy only a race can give.
As the years went by, school was simply “what you do,” but my heart was more and more in the mountains—training rides, MTB races, and the feeling of pushing myself further every weekend. In 2013, I became part of the North Rhine-Westphalia XCO selection and started racing Bundesliga events and international competitions. That period shaped me: it taught me discipline, resilience, and how much you can grow when you keep showing up, no matter what.
After finishing school in 2016, I started an apprenticeship as a road maintenance worker and completed it successfully in 2019. Even while building my professional life, mountain biking stayed at the center of who I am. I fought my way up to U23 World Cups, experiences that made me believe even more in my potential. From 2020 to 2022, I studied to become a construction technician, and that’s the job I work in today — proof that I’ve always been someone who builds things step by step, whether it’s a career or a sporting dream.
My first real road race came in 2021 at the Sauerlandrundfahrt, the final event of the German Bundesliga. I surprised myself with a top-30 result, and shortly after, the team manager of Team Sauerland asked me to join them for the following season. That moment was a turning point — it felt like a door opening. It marked the start of my road career and over the next four years I grew with Saris Rouvy Sauerland, later known as REMBE | rad-net.
Now, at the start of 2026, I’m truly proud and grateful to be part of Storck – MRW BAU.
I’m excited for what’s ahead, motivated to give everything for the team, and ready to write the next chapter with full commitment and heart.
